(Soliti/Lumikki 030) Released date: 24th October 2014
We’re proud to announce (and a little excited too) the release date for Manna‘s new album Blackbird. Blackbird is Manna’s most vulnerable album to date, featuring personal yet brave songs that push to the maximum the view that Manna’s music is from the heart and without boundaries. Blackbird‘s cover art reflects the album’s mood and theme with an illustration by Linda Linko.
Delay TreesReadymade album has found a very welcoming audience worldwide, recognizing the band’s own distinctive take on dream pop textures whilst nudging experimental borders. Steady personifies this approach to the max, an intense, metronomic build up grows into Rami Vierula’s laconic, dreamy vocals. Just as Steady feels like it disappears the track erupts into cacophonous drum fills whilst retaining it’s steady (sic) ring.
Black Lizard return with the Burning EP (Soliti 027) on the 11th August, the follow up to their much praised self titled debut album. Black Lizard still thrill with their psych rock approach, but the Burning EP brings in more prominent electronic elements and disguised voices. Once again Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3) has mastered this new Black Lizard release, with production duties handled by the band themselves. The Burning EP provides a handy stop-gap between albums with Black Lizard’s second full length album due early 2014.
