Delay Trees return with new single Brightest Eyes

Delay Trees will release their fourth album ‘Let Go‘ early 2017

We’re so delighted here at Soliti that one of our favourite bands ever, Delay Trees have decided to pick up their instruments and enter the fray once again. Our hearts are emboldened. Even more, if there is anything such as a ‘classic’ Delay Trees sound, then new single“Brightest Eyes” (and first taste of their upcoming 4th album Let Go) is as close to that sound as you can possibly get. It’s sonic nirvana to our ears.

The band elaborate on “Brightest Eyes”: “Our fourth album will be called Let Go. It follows the blueprint of the “Delay Trees sound” – it is guitar based, ethereal, melodic and melancholic.
The theme of the album is about accepting change, letting go of the past, of people and nostalgia. It is about depression, loneliness and heartbreak as much as about finding one’s true self, learning to live in the “now” and believing that after hopelessness comes hope. It was recorded and mixed at Mankku and Studio Kekkonen by Julius Mauranen. “

The “Brightest Eyes” video includes tour and home clips edited together by Delay Trees frontman Rami Vierula.
