Pintandwefall celebrate their 20th Anniversary with special live shows in September
Pintandwefall celebrates 20 years of being Pintandwefall with a new two track single and some Anniversary shows. The two track single will feature on Pintandwefall’s upcoming eighth album. The band tells us of the A-side “Mustang” – ”A brand new Pintandwefall love song from the perspective of Kurt Cobain’s guitar, of course.”
The B-side features “Worse” – “An ancient Pintandwefall anti-love song from our very first demo. This piece has never been released before, even though we have revived it for live shows from time to time. The fuckboi/old flame frustration at the core of the song still rings true 20 years later, and it feels fitting to finally put a re-arranged version of it out in the world for our 20th anniversary!”

Initial Reaction
In addition to new and reimagined music, the band will perform on Friday, September 4, 2026, at G Livelab in Tampere, followed immediately by a show on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Kuudes Linja in Helsinki. It’s worth buying tickets in advance, because it took a huge amount of juggling to get these dates lined up! Two sets are planned.

“The four of us have been putting the finishing touches on our next album, which was recorded during rehearsals. In addition to new songs, the album will also feature some great material from our archives. The album will be released in 2027. Then we’ll be back on stage for the release tour.

The band was formed in the spring of 2006 at the career guidance office of Vaskivuori High School in Vantaa, and we set off on an endless tour. The early years were intense—we lived in the rehearsal space, the tour van, and as roommates. Our roots have grown into a tangled knot, and who knows where the shoots will lead. A deep-seated sense of local pride permeates our culture in the form of Jussi Award-winning films, groundbreaking research, fountain monuments, and hits that bridge generations.
Yeah, we’ve managed to put out all kinds of albums. And let’s not even get started on the gigs we’ve played! Everyone’s come out to cheer us on.”
