Self titled album releases in the 5th June Via Soliti.
The debut album from Telephone Romeo arrives – 10 tracks brimming with melodic energy and positive intent. This is music that will make you feel better. Telephone Romeo is the project of producer and artist Aleksi Skippari – “Telephone Romeo” is to be released by Soliti on the 5th June 2026.
“After years of singles, EP’s, brewing concepts and exploring different sides of artistry, it’s finally time to present Telephone Romeo as a whole, fully realised, at this point in time anyway. The album delves into personal struggles and revelations with life, love and relationships. Finding your place in your own life and the role you play in others. A reminder that there is so much more to you than you might realise. Compared to earlier releases this album is more personal, vulnerable and lyric focused, where I really wanted to say what I mean and mean what I say. To reflect this the production is more stripped back to focus on what’s important for the song and the message. This is an album where influences are worn on the sleeve, immediacy is crucial and sincerity is essential.”

Viikon Levy at Radio Helsinki
” The album is themed around personal struggles and contains insights into life, love, and relationships, among other things.”

“The album as a whole is psychedelic, deeply personal pop, and not at all melancholic. Following his 2020 debut EP and multiple singles, this is his first full-length album, yet it’s easy to listen to with its 10 tracks, all without any pretension. If you like Tame Impala or MGMT, you’ll definitely enjoy this.” Niche Music
“The instrumental, with its beats and melodies, easily captivates the listener, something reinforced by the excellent vocal work. Simply unmissable!” Roadie Music
“The unpredictable evolution of Telephone Romeo and their proposal in Slippin'” Oleada Indie
“In “Slippin’,” Aleksi Skippari captures precisely that feeling of watching something important begin to fade while still clinging to the desire to recapture it.” Rmas
“The new track “Slippin” sounds like the perfect soundtrack for a long, hot summer: it carries a slow-burning sweetness, dense guitar riffs, and a hook that is instantly catchy and almost addictive.” VoxWave Magazine
“The production, stoic synth lines over punchy drums and off-kilter guitars, keeps the track’s energy propulsive enough that the underlying anxiety reads as urgency rather than paralysis” B-Side Guys
“Everything is very well executed and balanced, including the emotional content.” Music For All
“It is a singular, melodic masterpiece that captures the rewarding thrill of an artist completely surrendering to the natural flow of songwriting.” Purple Melon
