Listen to Satellite Stories new single Heartbeat

Satellite Stories release Heartbeat today (9th Jan.), the second single off their forthcoming album Vagabonds (which drops in Finland via Soliti on the 27th February).

Heartbeat takes inspiration from the relentless touring the guys have undertaken since their indie breakthrough. Living like drifters and writing songs, “We became Vagabonds going from pillar to post with no real fixed address” says lead guitarist Marko Heikkinen

Between their heavy list of festival and live appearances in 2014, the band decamped to the UK to record their third album in the Kentish countryside with producer Simon “Barny” Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Temper Trap, Kasabian and Bombay Bicycle Club). The release of the first single from Vagabonds late last year, The Trap, made Spotify’s “Simply the Song of the Year” playlist after accumulating millions of plays. The Trap also placed the quartet at #1 on Twitter Music as well as receiving serious play at YleX. Influential site Indie Shuffle included The Trap on their Best Indie Pop of 2014 list. The positive reaction from fans and media alike for The Trap has been overwhelming to say the least.

Satellite Stories embark on a huge European tour at the end of February, taking in Finland, Spain, Germany, Holland, UK, Czech Republic, Austria, Sweden, Norway & Denmark. The tour starts in Finland at Jyväskylä and ends with a homecoming show in April at Helsinki Tavastia.
