Second single from Black Lizard frontman arrives
In early February we introduced to you all the debut offering of Black Lizard‘s Paltsa-Kai Salama in the form of the single Ran Out Of Love. A smattering of live shows, national radio play and a warm welcome greeted Salama’s first solo venture. The follow up to Ran Out of Love is now with us. Summer Of Nothing brings upbeat vibes and a boogie funky feeling. Salama explains ” The song is my attempt to pay heed to mid 1970s reggae and funk influenced tracks by the likes of The Grateful Dead and Rolling Stones. Summer Of Nothing refers to fixing your life, not necessarily within a particular relationships but as a whole. It’s about wanting to feel good again.”
The video for Summer of Nothing (shot by Rosa Kettumäki) introduces us to Salama’s live band in a rehearsal room setting.
The Paltsa-Kai Salama Band make their live debut opening for Black Twig on the 13th May in Helsinki.
Paltsa-Kai Salama: Vocals, Guitar
