“IV” arrives on the 21st March 2025 via Soliti Recordings
Cats of Transnistria the duo of Tuomas Alatalo & Henna E. Hietamäki, announce their first new longplay in almost six years – “IV” arrives through Soliti Recordings on the 21st March 2025.
The announcement arrives with a taste from “IV” in the form of new single “Horrors” – an epic and cinematic musical exploration that once again shows Cats of Transnistria’s use of rhythm and bass – new features for the band following on from last year’s stand alone single “Big Sleep”
Tuomas: “Moodwise “Horrors” draws inspiration from The Terminator 2: Judgement Day Theme. A mechanical beat pulses slowly under lush and ethereal layers of guitars and synthesizers.”
Henna: “While writing the lyrics I was thinking about the growing effects of the climate catastrophe, the global rise of fascism, the walls protecting inequality and the unknown future of the new generation.”
