“Säbä” and “Säbä” original instrumental are released on the 13th Sept.2024
‘Säbä’ is The New Tigers’ first song in Finnish and thus a special and exceptional case. However, the band hasn’t changed their performance language, and their own voices aren’t actually even heard on this recording. The voice heard in the song belongs to Jani Nyberg. The narration is an excerpt from interview material collected by a friend of the band for his PHD in progress (”Floorball in Southwest Finland: From youth centres to sports halls”). The excerpt was used in the song with Nyberg’s permission. Musically the song is classic New Tigers. The band is currently working on a new album.

The New Tigers are a Turku, Finland based four piece band. “Saba” features the original line up of the band; Appu Jasu, Valtteri Virtanen, Janne Kauppinen and Waltteri Katajamäki. The New Tigers have released three full length albums, 1 EP and a selection of one off singles and tracks.
