Introducing Lucy Lohan – “NONCHALANT” features on the forthcoming GUNK EP, Lohan’s debut for Soliti

We first encountered Lucy Lohan guesting on Knife Girl’s recent OONA EP. A deep dive online revealed Lohan’s own self released music and a serious sense of experimental adventure and warping of hip-hop environs. Lohan’s first release for Soliti is an almost intimate exercise in minimalist hip-hop without forsaking the pop. Lohan reveals the origins of “NONCHALANT” this way: “I made this song in london at camden studios with maple and sent it off to my friend 7ugust in the US, it’s a victory lap of a song designed to be played in a fast car. Please look forward to the new EP.”  “NONCHALANT” will be released via Soliti on the 18th March, 2022.

The Forthcoming GUNK EP ( out 13th May 2022) finds Lohan recording each track in a new environment at various locations around the world; the EP was made in Amsterdam, Glasgow, London, and Paris on one big trip.

Lucy Lohan, a rapper, vocalist, and producer from Helsinki, Finland combining influences from rap to j-pop creating a varied world of sounds and allowing a wide range of emotions. The artist has recently been seen performing with Umru at his Search Party series of shows and collaborating with a wide range of international artists. Currently focused on their debut release “GUNK” under Soliti – you should keep your eyes open.
