HML brings us the most classic version of Delay Trees as found from forthcoming long player Doze - which drops through Soliti on the 19th October. Download /stream the track below…and please share!
The band explain the meaning behind the song “The song is a bitter-sweet tribute to Delay Trees’ hometown Hämeenlinna (in short HML). Hämeenlinna is a lush, beautiful, quiet town and also the birth place of famous composer Jean Sibelius. However it’s also a pretty dull and hopeless place to live or leave. No matter how far you go from the town, the “Hämeenlinna state of mind” still follows you like a haunted spirit.”
Pause, the first taste from Doze which we slipped out in late June and demonstrated some expansive experimentation in its 8+ minutes can be found streaming here
